Pushing Forward: Jett Noland Works His Way to a Top 10 Finish At Mobile

August 2, 2025 – Mobile International Speedway – Irvington, AL

This past Saturday, the Jett Noland Motorsports crew returned to Mobile International Speedway in Irvington, Alabama, for the latest round of the Southern Super Series. Having gained experience on this track from the previous season, the team arrived with a sharp focus and high expectations for an equal or even better performance. Practice on Friday gave us reason to feel confident. The car responded well to adjustments, and we were running comfortably. “Practice went well, and by the end of the day, we were in the top 10,” said Jett, feeling optimistic as we headed into race day.

After qualifying wrapped up on Saturday, Jett secured the 12th spot on the grid—not quite where we wanted to start. He knew it would take some maneuvering to make his way through the pack, so once the green flag dropped, Jett got to work. Through the opening laps, he had to navigate heavy traffic with patience and precision. As the race settled into a rhythm, he was able to make steady gains, climbing his way into the top five at one point mid-race. For a moment, it looked like we were in position to fight for a podium finish.

Unfortunately, as the laps wound down, the field tightened up, and passing opportunities became few and far between. Despite the car showing speed throughout the night, and with no way to defend his position, Jett wasn’t able to reclaim the ground he’d gained earlier in the run. He ultimately crossed the finish line in 9th place—a respectable result, though certainly short of where we wanted to be.

“Started 12th, made it up to the top 5 but ended P9 at the finish,” said Crew Chief Jimmy after the race. “Car had speed but just couldn’t get back to the top. We’ll regroup and come back stronger for the next race.”

Racing at Mobile always brings a challenge, especially during an event like the Southern Super Series, and this weekend proved no different. Still, we’re proud of the team’s effort and Jett’s perseverance behind the wheel. Every race brings our team another lesson and more motivation to improve. Like always, we’ll take what we’ve learned, make the adjustments we need, and come back better than ever for the next stop in the series.

We couldn’t do any of this without our wonderful partners, Cohen Law Group and Noland’s Roofing. We’re grateful for them and you for believing in us, and ask that you take a look at Jett’s schedule for information on upcoming races. You can also follow us on Jett’s socials for announcements and behind-the-scenes content.
