Race Recap From Five Flags Speedway

On Friday, August 23, Jett and team gave it their all at the Five Flags Speedway in Pensacola, Florida. Jett ran well, showing consistency and skill, but we ultimately finished 6th, just shy of where we wanted to be.

Jett and the team are no strangers to the Five Flags Speedway, having raced there four times already this season, including the The Sunshine State 200 back in March where Jett finished in the top 10.

Known for its high-banked turns and demanding layout, the Five Flags Speedway always presents an exciting challenge. The team was busy experimenting with various gear ratios throughout the night, trying to find that perfect balance to match the track’s unique demands. We worked tirelessly, adjusting and fine-tuning as the night went on, but we just didn’t have the right gear to fully capitalize on Jett’s driving capabilities. The car had speed, but we needed that extra bit of drive to really push into the top spots.

“We didn’t end up where we aimed,” said Jett. “But finishing 6th at such a competitive track is still an accomplishment. We learned a lot and will take that with us to our future races.”

As always, we appreciate the support from our fans, sponsors, and crew. The team is already looking ahead to the next race, so stay tuned, because Jett Noland Motorsports is just getting started!
