March 25, 2024 – Sunshine State 200 – Pensacola, Florida
On Sunday, March 25, Jett and team took off for the 5 Flags Speedway in Pensacola, Florida. The 5 Flags Speedway is a high-banked half-mile asphalt oval located in Pensacola, Florida, and it’s known for its fast speeds and intense racing action. The track has a rich history and has seen some of the best drivers in the business battle it out for victory.
The race weekend had a lot of ups and downs for our team. We had a solid qualifying effort, but during the final practice session, disaster struck when the rear end of our car snapped off. Our team rallied together and worked around the clock on Saturday night to get the car back in race-ready condition for Sunday’s main event. It was a true testament to the dedication and determination of everyone involved.
The Sunshine State 200 is always a highly competitive race, and this year was no different. From the drop of the green flag, it was clear that it was going to be a battle to the finish. Jett started 10th on the grid, and fought hard throughout the race, making his way through the field and putting himself in contention for a solid finish. The car felt strong, and the team knew we had a shot at a top-10 result.
As the laps wound down, Jett pushed harder than ever, trying to gain every position possible. In the end, he crossed the finish line in 9th place, a solid performance given the challenges the team faced throughout the weekend.
Jett shared a recap on his Facebook page, saying that “the whole team is looking forward to a few weekends off to get the car back to new and onto the next race!”
